Our renovated half bath

The kids and I went down to the Lehigh Valley 2 weekends ago and had a great time. We spent time with Mom and Dad Long, we hungout in the pool with my cousin Dave, his girlfriend Lindsey and their son Dave, and I went to my friend Talina's baby shower while Ian played with Bryce and Clara. When we arrived home we found our completed half bath. Josh worked all weekend on the bathroom and splitting a tri-axle of wood. He did an awesome job on the custom sink!

I love the way the water flows from the faucet!
We painted the room a sunshine yellow with a cranberry accent wall.

We added a new light with ventilation
The custom sink is great for our very small space...now we actually enjoy using it ;)

Jeep Show in York, PA

This past weekend we went to the Jeep Show in York, PA. We had a great time walking around looking at all of the Jeeps, watching the Jeeps on the obstacle course, and buying lots of Jeep merchandise. Ian had fun at the kids area where he bounced on the inflatable doggy and played cars in the sand. I forgot I had the camera in the diaper bag so there aren't too many pictures.

Pictures of the show field

We bought Nathan his first Jeep item...I'm sure it won't be the last!

Robins

We love watching the birds in our backyard. This summer we found a few nests in our yard. I snapped a few pictures of the Robin's nest. We were guessing this little guy was about a day or two old. He has really big eyes!!!

Fun in the Pool

Ian has been taking swim lessons at Packer Park Pool in Wellsboro for the past 4 weeks. His instructor (Ian) was very good with the boys. Ian had swim lessons with two other boys, Drew and Spencer. They worked on putting their heads under the water, floating, kicking, arm action, blowing bubbles under the water and just being comfortable in the water. Ian was real trooper, most days the water was freezing and he never complained about being in the water or trying new things. Next year he'll be able to move on to the next class.

Bath Time with Nathan

Nathan doesn't mind bath time. When Josh installed the ventilation in the bathroom, he bought one with a heater as well. The bathroom stays pretty warm with it on. It's a good thing because Nathan gets chilly easily. I want to thank Ian, my photographer in training for taking the pictures.
Look at his little belly.

Who doesn't love a baby's cute lil butt :)

Nathan's 2 month appointment

We went to Nathan's 2 month appointment yesterday. I was very excited to see how much he weighed because we haven't been to the doctors since a week after he was born. Nathan is 13 pounds 7 ounces and 25 inches long. He is in the 90th percentile in weight and 95th percentile in height. He is doing so much more now! He's been smiling for a few weeks, he reaches for things, and he'll track us while we walk. At the moment he blows bubbles and drools a bunch (I hope his teeth aren't coming in already!)

July 4th

I had some problems the first time I tried to upload pictures and I finally have a little time this morning to do it!

We went to Ives Run for a picnic dinner with our friend Jen and her two children, Maddie and Charlie. We rode bikes, the kids played at the playground, and enjoyed some delicious food. The photos are in no peculiar order.

The kids watching the fireworks.

The parents waiting for the firework show to begin. The kids looking at the train across the lake.

Cute Kids!

Josh smiling because he finally got Nathan to sleep. Nathan wasn't crazy about the wind and cried most of the time.

Our 5th Anniversary

This past Friday (July 3rd) Josh and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary by spending time together. We went shopping, went out to eat and had fun at Harris Hill Amusement Park in Elmira, NY. We need to get go carts...I loved racing around the track.
