That's right! Nathan is getting his bottom two teeth in at the same time. I'm still nursing and things were starting to hurt..now I know why ;)

Pictures of house and kids
Ian was helping with the leaves...his motive was to make a pile and then play in it.

Our kitchen and dining area was covered in a red floral wall paper and to prep for the window removal in the dining area I removed the wall paper and found the walls were painted. It really opened the space up!

Here is Ian doing one of his many art projects. He loves to paint!
We took Ian to get his Five Year Old pictures and this is the one he picked out. There are some lines since I scanned it into the computer.
Here are some pictures from our recent visit with Nanna. She loves to get visits from her great-grand children.
I'm still amazed by all the wood we were able to cut...and when I say we, I mean mostly Josh

So I'm going to work backwards from the finished product to the original house pictures.

So I'm going to work backwards from the finished product to the original house pictures. Nathan is six months already! and More!
We have been very busy lately working on the house, play dates, story time, MOPS, AWANA, preschool, and now with me taking some free online classes trying to get some ACT 48 hours. I haven't been very good at updating the blog, but I'll try to make note of the big things going on in our life.
Yesterday we took Nathan to his six month appointment and he weighed 20.3 pounds and is 28 inches long. It won't be long before he'll be in a larger car seat. Ian went for his 5 year old check up a few weeks ago and he weighs 51 pounds and is 35 3/4 inches. Both boys are getting so big!
This past weekend Josh worked on the bedroom project. We were waiting for our storm door to come in so he could finish the outside. We had ordered the wrong size, but instead of returning it and paying the restocking fee, we realized we could use it on our other front door. There was nothing wrong with it so we were able to sell it on craigslist to a very happy guy that came the day I posted it. So, now we have matching storm doors and they look very nice since they are all glass with a sliding screen. I can't wait to feel the warm breeze this summer. I know it's a long ways away, but it will arrived be for I know it. Josh installed two storm doors, put the remainder of the log siding on the house, and caulked all the doors and windows. I painted the shed and helped with the leaves and then Josh added them to the composter. We had a goal in mind and we were able to get everything done...it's nice when Nathan naps. I love being able to help Josh work on things so we can have some family time.
On Saturday I took the kids to Maple Lanes to do some bowling. Well, Ian bowled and we watched. It's so much fun to see his excitement when he gets the pins down. The night was organized by a local church where they had crafts, food, bowling, clowns, games and prizes. We enjoyed the afternoon together.
Oh, how can I forget. Two weeks we were at the mall and stopped into Sears to see if they had any good deals. They had an awesome deal on a stainless steel side-by-side Kenmore Pro Refrigerator. It was about 50% off. I guess it was a floor model and a slow moving product since it's a counter top depth, but it was exactly what we wanted for the kitchen. We didn't buy it until this past Friday because we worried it wouldn't go with the kitchen, but we gave in after looking at some other stores. The refrigerator that came with the house stopped working this summer without any warning and we've been using the refrigerator that we had at our old place, but we were worried about that one breaking down and losing lots of food since it was about the same age as the one that came with the house. So far we love it. It is taking some time to get used to, but I think we'll be able to organize the food a little better. Just to make my point we found some gross stuff in the back of the old refrigerator when we emptied it out. I don't know if everyone has this problem, but for us the back of the refrigerator is like a black hole. Hopefully we won't have that problem for now on.
I will post pictures in another post with short captions.

Trick or Treat
This was our first Halloween in Wellsboro. We went Trick or Treating for about 30-45 minutes. Ian decided his bag was getting heavy and didn't want to carry it so he wanted to stop. We went to dinner at Harland's that night. After dinner we hung out and watched movies (and ate candy of course). It was a great family night!
