A few snow pictures

Winterfest: Hills Creek State Park Valentine's Day weekend

There wasn't much snow, but Ian had fun!

Walking up the mountain and ready to go again. The first big snow!!

It was even hard to smile.
The winds were a little much for Nathan. We were out there just long enough to get some pictures and pull him around a little.
Don't worry Nathan you'll like it a little more next year.

Has it really been almost two months???

So much has happened in the last 2 months and it would take me forever to update everything. Here is a short blurb about some of the things we've done or are doing.

Christmas-We went to visit family and friends down in Hellertown and Philadelphia area and then worked on the house over the vacation. It was great to see so many people in the short time we were down there.

January- We had visit from Tarah and Joe. They spent the weekend here. We were able to show them around a little and then took a trip to Corning Museum of Glass.
A bunch of January was taken up by taking out the window in the dining room and finishing the ceiling and walls in the dining room. I sewed curtains for the dining room and the kitchen and it looked great. The room was finished just in time for a baby shower for a friend. No sooner was the shower over and we were on to projects again.
Towards the end of the month Ian lost his 2 bottom teeth. The first one he put under his pillow, but he ate the second one when eating a soft pretzel. He was very upset about swallowing it, but felt better after we wrote the tooth fairy a letter. :)

February is almost over! Can you believe it?? I can not! It went by so fast The floors in the kitchen and the dining room needed to be replaced so that is what we are working on now and have been since the beginning of the month. The floor in the dining room has been so much work since we are using the sanders Josh already owned. We were really trying to save the original floor but looking back it would have been so much easier to put new hardwoods down. The problem with the floors is that there are over a thousand holes to fill in. Pulling those nails took hours, but we all chipped in and got it done. We are sanding at the moment and have plans for the stain color. Everyone keeps asking "Is the bedroom done?" My answer..no, Why..because we keep adding projects and it's a little too cold to get cement in. So why not work on other projects.

This month Ian has been practicing for a Winter Worship service that is going to be held tomorrow. They are doing two songs along with signing some words. He loved going to choir with the other kids! I can see him doing it again in the future.

We also signed Ian up for t-ball. They are supposed to start in March or early April, so I'll be sure to add some photos from their games.

Feb11th Nathan turned 9 months and boy is he getting around. He doesn't stay still and loves to get into everything. He started to spit out his baby food and only wants what we are eating. He has such a cute personality now. He and Ian get along so well (when Nathan isn't eating one of his toys)

We got our first big (meaning 6-8 inches) snow. It's amazing, but the storms either hit the North or South of us. Yesterday Ian and I made some strawberry snow ice cream and today Ian and Josh built a snow girl. Nathan went out for a short time and wasn't crazy about the wind, so he and I watched from inside ;)

March is already starting to look busy, but I'm going to try to update the blog a little more.
